Truth, Justice, and the American Way

Freedom of Information Should Mean Something.

The Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) represents the ideal that a government that is truly “for the people” must provide to the public, access to its records so that “we the people” can hold that government accountable for its actions made in our name. But too often, valid records requests can go years without a response. And when records are provided, they are often incomplete or overly redacted. I provide legal assistance to people who want the bring government out of the dark and into the light.
